Together they survived hunger, cold nights, and constant displacement. Around Simba’s neck hung a worn metallic collar, fused with a dormant chip, a quiet promise of purpose waiting for the right moment to awaken. Through hardship after hardship, Simba learned resilience: when to endure, when to flee, and when to stand his ground.
One day, the man was taken by an IronPaw raid and Simba found himself, for the first time, alone. When hope thinned into unshakeable fear, Simba remained frozen and hidden in the dark alleyways close to where his companion was taken.
It was then that Hamie found him. In him, Simba recognised something familiar: loneliness, determination, and a path forward. By the time Simba became Hamie’s companion, he was already forged by both loss and endurance, which made him all the more resilient for the path ahead.
